Mario Lazarov: Rimex is going to expand its farm machinery market share in 2017
- Rimex Technologies re-entered in 2016 the market for agricultural machinery with premium machines (BEDNAR, AGRIFAC, MERLO, PELLENC, CLEMENS, CASELLA) and complete technological solutions for farmers. Are you satisfied with the restart of your activity under the familiar and trusted in our country name - "Rimex"?
- This is our first year with the company name RIMEX that farmers knew well and over the years has become a benchmark for work and attitude. That is why we started our business again with this well-known name. We started very strongly, taking part of the autumn farm machinery exhibition Bata Agro, we have also organized within two months three field presentations of agricultural equipment, which presented our complete range of machinery in the field. Our customers are extremely pleased that once again we are a family company and we provide them with a personal approach to working with Rimex which gained high national image over the years.
- At the start of your activity you gave request that your work will support the development of family farms in agribusiness, from small to large. How that has evolved as a concept and took ownership of you as a partner?
- Yes exactly! You see that we have the transition of farmer's generations, which started business in agriculture in the 90s. Today, as in us and in our customers this is happening already. It is gratifying when you set foot on the experience, but working in business with new ideas, energy and enthusiasm! So, the old partnerships are becoming stronger with our customers and they continue to make plans for the development of agribusiness in the country. And we can work with big companies, but managed still by their founders and their children. This allows more flexibility, quick decision making and better communication, which corporate structures seemed lost somewhere between floors in their administrations.
- The innovative machines that Rimex offers are integrated solutions for work in the farms. How the farmers appreciate the new activities of your company?
- Innovative machines that we offer to farmers are in two directions: first - machines for conventional farming, which are combined units for tillage and sowing, by the brand Bednar and high-tech sprayers by the brand Agrifac. The second direction in which we focused our efforts is to offer innovative processing technologies for vineyards, harvesting of grapes and building of cellars. In this field we are working with the two largest companies in the market - Pelenc and Clemens.
- Please share with us your development plans for 2017-a year?
- We will keep up the good work, that we have made this year and we will be even more proactive in the next one. We will participate in all agriculture exhibitions, the first of which will take part in international exhibitions in February in Plovdiv with focus on specialized machinery for vineyards and conventional agriculture. We will continue to show our machines in action in the field. It has also planned to expand our portfolio with more innovative machines that can offer our clients.

- I wish our customers good health and luck. Let 2017 be a fruitful and successful year, with higher rates of production for Bulgarian farmers who deserve a dignified wage, which make caring for our land!
