Agrifac presented the new Mountain Master Plus system for self propelled sprayers. Agrifac Condor equipped with MountainMasterPlus uses the unique Agrifac StabiloPlus chassis with adjustable ground clearance of 130 to 200cm. Every wheel has its own adjustable cylinder to level the Agrifac Condor MountainMasterPlus at steep slopes.

The world needs enough food, while we want to reduce our ecological footprint. Every farmer has its own daily challenge to achieve the highest possible return. Spraying the crop at exact the right time and give it exactly the right protection can be a challenge if it grows on a steep slope. It is uncomfortable, and even dangerous. How do you keep balance? The distance from the spray boom and the crop on steep slopes is always a big challenge, as the boom has to follow the crop instead of the hill or sprayer. Agrifac offers the perfect solution with MountainMasterPlus.

A Condor equipped with MountainMasterPlus uses the unique Agrifac StabiloPlus chassis with adjustable ground clearance of 130 to 200cm. Every wheel has its own adjustable cylinder to level the Agrifac Condor MountainMasterPlus at steep slopes.

Levelled Machine

This automatic levelling system ensures a perfectly stable machine at all axels, left/right as well as front/back. Result: working perfectly safe and comfortable at steep slopes. The weight distribution stays equal over all wheels. This ensures more grip, less slip and less fuel consumption.

The Agrifac Condor MountainMasterPlus is the first machine which makes it possible to work safe at steep slopes with a real capacity monster; a tank up to 5000 litre and booms up to 48 meters. With the MountainMasterPlus, the Agrifac Condor levels at slopes up to 32% at lateral inclination.

The MountainMasterPlus is able to compensate slopes with a higher lateral inclination percentage, and faster with a smaller track width. The smaller the track width, the more stable.

Lateral inclination, levelled at 32% with a track width of 225 cm

Upward inclination, levelled at 23% due to a wheel base of 310 cm

MountainMasterPlus in the crops

The MountainMasterPlus offers another big advantage for the crop, being that the sprayer always stays parallel to the grow direction of the crop. Fact; crops grow straight up. Other sprayers damage the crops in hilly conditions, as the sprayer is parallel to the field instead of to the crops.

Higher ground clearance on slopes and in hilly conditions

The MountainMasterPlus has an adjustable ground clearance from 130-200cm. This height guarantees a levelled machine. Everything is adjusted automatically, with just a few basic settings a perfectly save trip is guaranteed. At less steep areas, it is possible to protect high crops like corn without any damage.

Automatic

To keep the machine levelled, the operator does not have to do anything. Everything runs fully automatically. The EcoTronicPlus screen informs the operator about the actual status of the levelling.

For safety reasons the MountainMasterPlus has two sensors. The machine adjusts to slopes extremely fast. Every cylinder can go fully up or down in 8 seconds. That is equal to a turn of 180 degrees at a hill when MountainMasterPlus has to react to the maximum, with a turning radius of 20m and a driving speed of 15km/h. This means there is no need to take a turn slower than usually.

Booms

What about such wide booms? After all, the booms need to do the spraying as accurately as possible. The stability of the machine is already a big benefit. Besides that, Agrifac chooses not to fix the centre frame but to let it move with the slopes. This ensures that the boom always levels to the field. Due to this philosophy, it is not necessary to do alterations at the balance, which also leads to fewer forces to the boom.
